sorry for neglecting you. i got caught up in dead week, moving, finals week, and settling in at home. too long. good news, rocked my finals. can't wait for the upcoming quarters. nice to be home though. with the sisters--eating some good vegan food. i have to do some xmas shopping/creating which will be fun. lots of reading, biking, resting as well. can't wait to keep ya posted. pun intended. goodnight blog!

i've started to notice a trend in my blog...i don't really write, i express myself through short phrases or pictures. sometimes i just don't have much to say. scratch that, sometimes i don't know how to say what i'm thinking. but there are many times when i have nothing to say.

it's that time of year again, i start becoming obsessed (and re-obsessed) with romantic vampire novels. uh oh!

ABBA, latest obsession.

so on my way to class for the past couple weeks i've been walking past this man who sells handmade bags. i flash him a quick smile and keep walking most days. yesterday, i had a little extra time before class so i made a stop. i noticed the man was missing a few teeth and barely spoke english. we got to talking about the bags. apparently his wife makes them and he sells them-this is their income. due to my shopping habit and my too big of a heart, i caved. i bought a bag. (it is very similarly patterned to the picture on the right.) so far, the bag has done me well. but the best part is, i walked past the man today and he waved and flashed his toothless grin. i've made a friend.

so i met john leguizamo last night... he is in romeo and juliet, moulin rouge, die hard 2... weird, huh? he was a speaker for my theatre lecture. he's a very funny, down to earth guy. who would have thought santa barbara would reel in the stars? fun stuff.
